EpicPlay Terms of Use

1. Purpose of the Platform

EpicPlay is a youth athlete development and scouting platform designed to connect athlete development mentors (ADMs), athletes, and scouts through structured digital athlete profiles.

EpicPlay supports both ADM-assisted athlete development and athlete self-service. Approved ADMs may create and manage the community athlete records assigned to them, while athlete accounts may maintain their own private performance, goals, progress, portfolio, reviews, sharing controls, and related development information.

Scout access remains deliberately limited. Athlete information is shared only through approved EpicPlay discovery or time-limited sharing workflows, and under-18 scouting exposure is subject to separate safeguarding controls.

2. User Roles

Athlete Development Mentors (ADMs) create and manage only the athlete records properly assigned or linked to them.

Organization Admins manage approved programme functions for their own organization only.

Scouts use controlled EpicPlay discovery and sharing workflows and do not receive general access to private athlete information.

Athletes may maintain their own private performance, goals, progress, portfolio, reviews, clips and sharing controls.

Coaches require EpicPlay approval and may confirm specific athlete performance requests without receiving general athlete-profile access.

3. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an ADM, Organization Admin, Scout, or Coach account.

Athlete profiles for minors must be created by an approved ADM and require parental or guardian consent.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Upload false athlete information
• Impersonate scouts or institutions
• Use the platform for scams
• Upload copyrighted media without permission

5. Media Rights

By uploading media to EpicPlay, users confirm they have permission to share the content.

EpicPlay receives a non-exclusive licence to display uploaded media on the platform for scouting and development purposes.

6. Platform Availability

EpicPlay is provided "as is". We do not guarantee recruitment outcomes or scouting opportunities.

7. Scout Non-Circumvention

Scouts, clubs, universities, and recruiting organizations using EpicPlay agree not to bypass the registered ADM to contact athletes directly for recruitment purposes.

All recruitment discussions must occur through the athlete's ADM unless explicit written permission is granted by the ADM.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of scout access to the platform.

8. Account Suspension

EpicPlay reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or endanger athlete safety.
